During December, 9-19, 2017, a medical team of 18 members, including faculties, residents and medical students from NSU, Florida, USA, provided medical and dental care to over 1000 patients. Several hurricanes in the state of Florida in the later months of 2017 prevented travel for many would-be participants for the medical camp. The camp was organized by KJP Charitable Trust at the healthcare project facility in Ahwa, Dang, India, along with some local specialist doctors from nearby cities. The patients who attended the camp, varied from children to the elderly who had been unable to receive proper care in Dang and surrounding areas. Out of over 1000 patients, some were screened and transported to the local hospitals for surgical procedures.

During December 15 - 20, 2016, a medical team of 75 members including faculties, residents, interns and medical students from NOVA Southeastern University Medical School, FL, USA and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, Alabama, USA, provided medical care to more than 1,192 patients. The medical camp was organized by KJP Charitable trust at the VAD facility along with some local specialist doctors from nearby cities.

Sunil: Life-Saving Amputation Surgery
A 10-year old boy, Sunil Pawar, was brought to the medical camp at our project site by his relatives in December 2018. Dr. Daniel Olsen, one of the members of the NSU, Florida, USA, medical team, attended Sunil. He had an advanced form of gangrene in his right foot; the result of a vehicle accident, that was never properly treated. Dr. Olsen strongly recommended emergency amputation surgery to save his life. It was quite evident from the physical state that Sunil was brought in, that he would perish from septicemia and other complications without the emergency surgery.
